Terms of Service

These are the terms for the services sold on this site by Self-Edit Technologies Inc. (“we”). They are short because the arrangement is simple.

Month to month. Every monthly service (Rank Tracking, Local Content, Local SEO, Review Management) is billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled by either side at any time with notice before the next billing date. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. One-time services are billed once, on completion.

What we promise. That the rankings we show you are measured, not estimated or invented; that work is done by people, not bought in bulk; that we never use tactics that break Google’s published guidelines; and that nothing is published under your name without your approval. We do not promise any specific ranking, position or result, and we’ll say so if anyone asks.

What you own. Content we write and publish for you is yours once published. Your Google Business Profile stays yours; we are added as a manager and can be removed by you at any time. Rank history is available to you while you’re a client and for 30 days after.

Access. Where a service needs access to your website or listing, you grant it and you can revoke it. We keep credentials encrypted and use them only for the agreed work.

Liability. Our liability for any service is limited to the fees you paid us for that service in the preceding three months. We are not responsible for changes Google makes to its results, which happen often and without notice.

Disputes. Talk to Jeff first; almost everything gets sorted that way. Otherwise, the laws of British Columbia apply.
